Our primary business is supplying other businesses with quantities greater than 50 pieces for repeating orders, however; we are aware sometimes this may not be possible. We will consider these contact jobs individually and price them accordingly if there is a good fit with our company. Our ultimate goal and price benefit to our customers occurs at quantities of 50 or more pieces at a time of any given item.

Is Sinclair capable of producing flat glass? (Back To Top)

Yes! Sinclair is able to produce the same high quality parts either in flat or bent glass for you. With our CNC cutting equipment, we are capable of making any kind of shapes in flat glass. All of our capabilities we offer in bent can be incorporated into flat too including tempering, polishing, decorating and sandblasting.

What is the typical lead-time for specialty bent glass? (Back To Top)

Custom jobs can vary depending on the difficulty and number of processes but generally fall within 4-6 weeks for delivery. For quicker delivery, we offer a hold and release program that typically ships within 1-2 days. This allows our customers to confidently react to rush orders or sudden spikes in demand.

Can Sinclair Glass supply samples or prototypes? (Back To Top)

Prototypes and samples are a necessity in most of the items we have made for our customers. We do not simply just run the piece quickly and cut corners to get though this stage or have a sample that may look different than production. The pieces are processed the same way and on the same piece of equipment that we would use to produce in volume. The result? A piece of glass that is exactly what you would expect to see in production orders. Anyone can produce a single good sample. Repeating it in production to the specifications is the key.

Are special molds required for producing bent glass? (Back To Top)

Molds may or may not be required to produce the desired glass component you need. We encourage the use of our existing molds that we own whenever possible. We have produced glass for over a half a century and have literally thousands of molds. If. a exact radius or shape is required and we don’t have a mold, we can cost effectively produce molds at a fraction of the cost you might expect.
